Beyonce fans hoping to score tickets to the first night of her Roseland Ballroom shows in New York City received a rude awakening when their purchases wouldn’t go through. This is because the show sold out in an astonishing 22 seconds.
Tickets for the first night of Beyonce’s four night engagement went on sale today (August 10) at 12pm EST to Citi cardholders and tri-state area mailing list members during a pre-sale. By the time tickets were released to the general public, they were snapped up in a matter of seconds.
Just like the August 14 date, the second went fast. It sold out in under a minute.
The final chance to land tickets for Beyonce’s intimate performances–without having to go to a scalper– is at 4pm EST today.
The shows, pegged “4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce,” will see Beyonce performing songs from her latest album, the critically-acclaimed 4. She’ll perform to the standing room-only crowd on August 14, 16, 18 and 19.
