Beyoncé Knowles is gearing up for the big game! Only ET is on the set of the pop star’s Super Bowl commercial spot for the high-definition TV maker Vizio.
The singer is the newest spokesperson for Vizio, and her one-minute commercial is set to run during the game’s fourth quarter. The spot was directed by three-time Oscar nominee for cinematography, Wally Pfister, best known for his work on ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘Batman Begins.’
“It’s an honor for me to know that I’m going to be a part of the great commercials in 2010,” Beyoncé says of the experience. “It’s a little bit of pressure because they have genius commercials. We have to make sure our commercial is really cool because all the guys will be watching.”
On Sunday, February 7, the New Orleans Saints take on the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl XLIV, airing on CBS.
I have added the best version of it on youtube so far. She did a really good job. If you haven’t listened, she changed the lyrics to “Haiti we can feel your halo.”
iTunes doesn’t have the performance up yet, but when it is, I will provide a link to buy it.
Make sure you watch it! You have a lot of channels to choose from, as it will be on many stations. Also, after everyone performs, you can buy their performances on iTunes for 99 cents. It helps the people over in Haiti.
Beyoncé Knowles has shown she is still hot in an ad for her new perfume, Beyoncé Heat.
The 28-year-old is very excited about her brand, an earthy blend of red vanilla orchid and honey.
‘The name Heat, it sounds simple – it sounds hot and sexy, like Texas,’ she says.
‘I wanted to make sure that it wasn’t too overbearing, because I’m very private and I didn’t want it to be something that everybody could smell. You have to allow someone into your space…
‘I grew up with my mother walking past and you could smell the faint scent of her fragrance.
‘It always gave me this sense of comfort. I just thought it was so beautiful that she would walk by and leave her scent.’
The Texan can be heard performing a sultry version of Fever on the perfume’s website.
Although she has lent her image to perfumes before, this is the first time the singer has launched her own brand, which will go on sale in the US in February.
She says: ‘I’ve done endorsements for two other fragrances, and I was part of the process slightly.
‘Now, this time, it’s finally my fragrance and it’s something that will be around that I can pass on to my kids.’
Jay-Z has already pledged his allegiance to George Clooney and Wyclef Jean’s benefit for Haiti, and now his wife has also signed on.
The singer, who recently announced that she would be taking a break this year, will participate in “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief,” reports MTV News. She will appear in London with Jay-Z, U2’s Bono and The Edge, and Rihanna, but it is unconfirmed if she will perform.
Other celebrities lending their star power to help raise relief for the earthquake-ravaged country include Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira, and Stevie Wonder.
The two-hour “Hope for Haiti Now” telecast will air commercial-free on Friday at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
I think it’s very nice that Beyoncé cares about the people over in Haiti. She is very good for helping them. Make sure you tune in on Friday!
The Destiny’s Child singer – who is currently single – once dozed off during a romantic cinema trip with a prospective boyfriend and was snoring so loudly her bandmate Beyonce Knowles had to interrupt and wake her up.
She explained: “Once I fell asleep. He was the nicest guy, but I just happened to fall asleep. We were at a movie and yes, he noticed that I fell asleep. Beyonce had to come up to me and say, ‘You’re snoring. We can hear you snoring back here.’ That was so embarrassing.”
The ‘Independent Women’ group – which also included Michelle Williams – are currently taking time off from the girl group to focus on their own individual projects.
However, the 28-year-old singer and Beyonce, also 28, are still great friends and haven’t ruled out a reunion.
She explained: “If I’m in New York and Beyonce is in New York, we’re there with each other. We pretty much like to stay in or we’ll go to a lounge – it depends if we feel like being out.”
I guess this puts an end to the Kelly and Beyoncé feuding rumors!
The head that was crowned the winner belonged to the beautiful Cheryl Cole who garnered the highest number of votes to edge past yesteryear actress Audrey Hepburn and the reigning sex-bomb Angelina Jolie.
“Cheryl Cole was a clear winner and is loved by the nation for her looks, dress sense and friendly nature,” cited a spokesperson for Nikon who conducted the poll to popularize their new D300 Camera.

It’s no secret that she’s one of the biggest female artists in the world, and Beyoncé Knowles’ music reportedly gave a fellow songstress the extra boost to finish a marathon.
Alanis Morissette recently told press how listening to the “Single Ladies” singer’s tracks kept her going when she thought she was going to keel over.
“I ran a marathon for the National Eating Disorder Association. It was grueling. I have a marathon-mix. It’s eclectic. It’s Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead.. Beyonce saved my life for the last six miles.”
“Her Survivor song, I just kept hitting repeat. She really did save my life. I’m going to have to reach out to her to thank her.”
It’s nice that Beyoncé helped Alanis finish her marathon!
Beyoncé Knowles may not have her own dance game on the market yet, but she’s found a way to get in on the fashion business gaming market. The well-known diva who appeared in commercials for the DSi game “”Rhythm Heaven” has announced that she’ll do the same and more for “Style Savvy” in a spot slated to premier on Nickelodeon.
“It can teach young girls a sense of business and of responsibility,” Beyoncé told USA Today. “You have to be a good listener and pay attention to what the customers want. It also teaches you about fashion, using terms that fashion people use, like ‘asymmetrical.’ “
“Style Savvy” came out last November for the DS, but Beyoncé will be providing some downloadable content for it via her branded line of clothing from Deréon.
“The clothes in the game are great, so cute and detailed, and there’s always something new,” she said. “It’s like playing dress-up, only with digital technology instead of dolls.”
I don’t think I will be buying this game, but I do wonder how the game versions of the Deréon clothing look!
